fruit fly trap

The product consists of three parts interconnected by teeth that limit the length of the pull to close.
The middle part is separated under the top part for gripping and then turning when the holes are closed and by lifting it together with the top part is removed for removal and cleaning of the space intended for fruit flies. The holes correspond to the size of a sexually mature fruit fly.

The inner part can accommodate liquid and solid forms of baits for capture. The purpose of the trap is to allow the capture of fruit flies without killing them when after capturing the fruit flies you close the holes and then release the fruit flies outdoors.

The color choice is the reason for the most effective trapping of fruit flies. Red in the test for fruit fly traps over 100 fruit flies flew into the trap with this color during the day, when tested in a cocktail bar. The solution is also available in red, which eliminates the limitation of the color range of the product itself.

Lap is designed to be placed next to a basket, composter and other containers for storing fruit where fruit flies are most common. The shape is not intended to represent a trap at first glance. This way it does not have to evoke neglect in terms of organic waste that a person leaves in the house or other spaces.

The location is at the individual location of each user, which expands the range of users to include those who do not have composters but store biowaste separately.
