The LUDO growing chair is a product that grows with you. That is precisely why it is not made from recycled material—because it does not need to be recycled. My idea is to highlight the waste of materials in the production of children’s products that are quickly outgrown. It is an issue that deserves more attention, and growing furniture should not go unnoticed.

It consists of three components: two truncated cones and one central rod, which is drilled through to accommodate a central pin that ensures stability and allows for adjustable height.

LUDO is the original patented name for the game “Človeče, nehnevaj sa” (known in English as “Ludo”), and this very game is meant to serve as a metaphorical reflection of life.
Yes, it’s a game that history has somewhat left behind, but it taught us how to think strategically, how to lose, and how to win.

It prepared us for life, where sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down. Sometimes you lose, and sometimes you win. At times you are the victor, and at other times the defeated—and it’s entirely up to you how you handle that loss. You can take it lightly, or learn from it and make a better move next time. Or you can refuse to accept defeat, remain stuck as the loser, and never start another game.

Because it is precisely losses that shape one’s character.
